Are you happy with the state of conservatism in America right now? When was the last time you were?
In his Farewell Address in 1989, President Ronald Reagan, the champion of contemporary conservatism, said,
"Whatever else history may say about me when I’m gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears."
How his party has changed since then. Today’s Republican Party represents a conservatism without charm, without hopefulness, without principle, without unity, without appeal to new generations.
We believe conservatism can do better. We believe it is time for a New Conservative Movement.
We are new because we believe that old conservatism has failed and America needs a new generation of leadership.
We are conservative because we promote ideas like liberty, equality, and small government.
We are a movement because we are not a party but a force for change.
Maybe you feel like us. You don't recognize what conservatives have become. You're disillusioned with elected leaders who have divided us, betrayed their promises, and shown poor character. You can't find a home in this political system.
But you haven't given up on conservative ideas, and you haven't given up on your country. You're ready to put principle over party. We hope you'll join the movement.
